My 2012 car has an aux input and a USB connector that ONLY works with ipod/iphone and I have an Android. This charges fine off that USB and my phone easily connected to the transmitter. Sound is perfect (unlike old style cassette FM transmitters) and it turns off and on with car power so I don't have to touch my phone at all to connect/disconnect.
It's very easy to use. The sound is good. I love it.
Sleek, small and easy to use!
Simple and easy to use. Sound quality is good. Recommend it to you.
Nice small easy to set up bluetooth transmitter it's small size makes it easier for placement
When working perfectly, the sound quality is better than I expected. However, it's not always working perfectly and here's why. I found that the three major factors in performance are the distance from the transmitter to the stereo itself, the radio station you choose, and where you are driving in your car. It works best for me mounted just above the stereo. Where I live, I found there is only 1 station that it actually works with consistency. When I drive to and from work, there are areas in which I pick up slight static. It's always the same areas so that tells me that the station I'm using is picking up another station. What's odd is if I place my hand on the transmitter, the static goes away. Also, when the music is louder, it's tends to cover most of the static noise. I've only used the hands free calling a few times but I was able to hear perfectly, and the person on the other end didn't say anything about bad call quality on their end. In summary, the reason there are mixed reviews is because the performance of this transmitter largely depends on where you live. If you're lucky, you can find a station that never picks up other signals. If you're unlucky, you may never find one that works well. For me, it works well enough that I don't feel the need to replace the stereo with one that has bluetooth. For the cost, it's worth it to buy and give it a shot.
I secured it with magnets to the side of my motorcycle it worked phenomenally for about two days. I rode over some train tracks causing the magnet to detach and the transmitter to fall on the street. I couldn’t find it for two days. I have no idea what it went through on the street for two days but just to note it did rain during that time. I finally found it with several deep gouges in the case meaning it took a violent tumble. When I found it it was still on with over 95% battery life and functioning perfectly.
These types of devices have come a long way. Much clearer than older ones.
I would agree for the paid price this is worth it; however the sound quality is very low even at max volume (from an iPhone) you might be frustrated by traffic taking over your precious music. You will definitely require a station with ZERO noise otherwise you will get grainy sound (and a station like is hard to find depending on where you live.
Easy to connect but you hear static build up a few moments after
I have an older boombox that I wanted to listen to something other than fm radio with. On a project house I can sync it to my phone stream music and it comes through crystal clear on the boombox. I approve!
Works flawlessly! I have these in both my vehicles because they work so well! Order you won't be dissatisfied!
Best FM transmitter I've tried. I have a BMW with no cig lighter so I went for this one and it works better than other transmitters I've tried. It's good
This is a modal window. video append of 243970b failed for segment #0 in playlist 3-default.jobtemplate.hls360.m3u8 It is a great little device small and portable. I currently have it in my 1990 Corvette I have the stock sound system and needed a way to play my music without a bulky 12v transmitter. I can leave it plugged in in my console hidden away. Connects very quickly to my phone and I can rock out to some classics in my classic! It does have slight feedback though can't hear it when music is playing but when silent it is very noticeable anywhere in the car.
Bought this so I could listen to apple music in my 66 beetle. No cigarette lighter no D/C outlet. This is perfect.
This is so handy for someone with a car with no AUX/Bluetooth no car cigarette lighter plug and a failing charging/headphone port on your phone lol. Which unfortunately my husband falls under. The price isn't terrible considering the corded version we were using before was only $10 or so cheaper.
Works great for a radio that doesn't otherwise get good reception. Just connect through your phone to your radio
I broke my aux port in my car decided to buy this I set the channel on my radio and device and it connects no problem couldn't go without my YouTube music It works for calls also.
It's meh you can still hear cracking noise but the battery holds good and it's portable so 3 stars is good.
Works great but the battery could be better
